Eccentric Tomato [2/20/2004]
Well, two dreams today. I actually remembered them this time. I've been bad about forgetting to write them
down in the morning. Well, on with my dream accounts.
The first dream was rather short. I was standing around a counter in a kitchen with my brother, Tom, we were
toying with some kind of Tomato slicing device. It was like nothing practical you've ever seen. The device was
more or less a conveyor belt-like device with a shredding section on it. A string of sorts went around some
posts and through the shredding area. Somehow we were able to stick the string through the tomato and we wound a
crank and watched as the tomato went through the shredding device and got all mashed up, and the remains that
didn't get shredded when around this complex path in some sort of square and then traveled around until it
returned to the shredding section and shredded the tomato some more. This repeated a couple times and we
observed closing how this tomato moved around the device. I then woke up to my alarm and promptly fell back to
sleep.
I dreamed yet again. This time I dreamt that I was at some mock-up of my home and that I made a huge mistake
(think I broke something or rather) and I knew that this lady was going to kill me if she found out, so I ran out
of the house. I heard her getting angry about something and I quickly ran into this part of the building where
some eccentric looking (and really fat) guy sat on his bed seemingly asleep. He woke up as I came in, and I made
some kind of signal to make him realize I needed to hide in there. I looked around and ducked behind a dresser
in this very expensive and huge bedroom. I saw someone who looked like this lady that was mad at me. She was
looking around the room and I knew she'd find me, so I leapt out in an attempt to beat her up before she saw me.
Before I actually did get to beating her up, I realized she was someone else and refrained. I then woke up.
I believe that the tomato dream has to do with my finances. I have been rather worried about my current money
situation and just checked yesterday and found that my funds are slowly depleting. I believe a tomato has
something to do with an abundance. So a shredded tomato may mean an abundance is starting to deplete.
The other dream may be something to do with my knee. It's a little swollen (fat looking) because some running
around I did and may have damaged it somehow. And I don't want to talk to a doctor about it because he'll just
say the same thing the doctor said 5 years ago when it happened last. So I'm hiding my injury so no one makes me
go to the doctor.
