Pirate Ship Cafe [1/16/2005]
This was yet another weird dream. I was looking out my window over towards the neighbor's house and
what astonished me was that it wasn't how my neighbor's house is suppose to look. Plus, it occured to me
that it wasn't how my neighbor's house is suppose to look. Normally the house is this two-story square
house. (Yes, square. Rather boring I think.) But this time it was a giant pirate ship with a huge fake
bird and pirate that sorta stuck out the top of the "ship".
Seeing this strange building, I had to investigate. I left the house and hopped into the pickup truck
and drove down the road. (Mind you, this is our next-door neighbor's we're going to. Don't ask me why I
had to drive anywhere.) I drive down the road and realized I had to turn around to get to the house, so I
drove down further and pulled off into a field on the side and went around some tents that were homes to
little stores. Reminded me of a flee market.
So I drove around these huts and went back onto the road and up to this house. There were stairs that
led down to the front door, and there were people everywhere. Lots of people from my church of all ages
working on planting flowers and stuff. I went inside and apparently Mr. Aaboo was the owner of the house
(in my mind). And he had another house somewhere else and decided to turn this one into an old-school food
store. The kind that have realy good root-beer barrels and ice cream and all kinds of health foods and
stuff. And the store was also home to a big stage and a nice little yard to play in. And the stage opened
up to the outdoors so you could have some nice indoor or outdoor concerts there. The place was really nice
with all wood floors and walls and it looked like a pirate ship that was gutted and turned into a cafe with
wood beams to hold the rest of the place up.
And so I wandered around as people (mostly from my church) were hanging around talking or doing stuff to
get the place started up. And eventually I woke up.
