Demon [3/31/2004]
I don't know if this was a dream or it this was real or what. I was dreaming something that I don't recall because it was a dream within a dream.
Something prompted me to wake from that dream and I did, or at least I seemed to have.
I found myself looking in the dark in my room and the alarm clock was still in the corner and everything seemed normal. But then I saw this shadow
figure start rising out of me. It startled me and I tried to wake up, but couldn't. I started to cry out, "Jesus Christ is my Lord," and it only had a
slight effect on whatever this thing was. I continued to do this for a bit and it started to strangle me.
I kept trying to wake up, and I would wake up for a split second at a time. I'd be awake and not able to move because my body hadn't woken up yet.
And I was really tired, so I lapsed back into this dream, and the shadow would reappear right where he was before I woke up. And I'd continue to call
out for Jesus.
Then this shadow somehow took over my voice in order to speak for himself. He mocked me in this evil demonic voice that came from my mouth. And he
tried to strangle me. Then he started to be lifted out of me more and more until he could no longer strangle me and then he grabbed my crotch in some
act of desperation and then he was gone. I then woke up completely this time and was in a bit of fear and not wanting to go back to sleep for another
20 minutes.
I checked the time and it was about 2:50am, only 20 minutes had passed since I fell asleep to begin with. I believe this had something to do with my
praying that evening and asking to God to help me out of my trouble with all this sex and junk that keeps nagging at me from media and society and in my
own mind.
