Spirits in a Mansion [4/17/2005]
This dream was a little weird in the creepy sense. It started out as me and some friends were walking near this old mansion that
was pretty much falling apart. The rear right side of it had completely fallen down but the left side and the whole front of the
building was intact. There were some construction vehicles there that appeared to be set there to take down what was left of the
building.
We were discussing about how there were supposedly spirits bound to the building. And I seemed to be the most psychotic one there
because I was saying how true it was. And I explained how a sprit could be bound into the walls of a building and that breaking the
binds would release the spirit back into the world.
We went around back to where the indoors lay exposed to the open air because it had collapsed there. And we got a ladder and
climbed up to the second story where an elegantly furnished room stood with fine ornaments all around and we looked around and
picked up some things when not long after, strange things happened as someone was holding a dress up or something that had pockets
and tastles on it.
They started to lift up or open and close on their own. At that point we knew even which spirit we had awaken and we started
scrambling down the ladder and got down safely. But strangely we felt that we had to keep the building from being torn down, so we
made our own haunting of the place. It must have been 20 people who did this with us. And we started out by hiding up near the front
entrance in closets. And we disguised ourselves as if we were dead people.
This one man, who was heading up the project of tearing down the place came inside and me and one other person acted out our part
first by coming towards him out of a front closet. It worked quite well. The guy ran further inside and other people came out of dark
spots and closets and scared him down the stairs that were cluttered up with stuff and for whatever reason, my next task was to hide
in this closet that had an opening out to a kitchen that had a strange oven with two levels on it. And I was to hide there and make
the kitchen look as if it was alive and was cooking stuff all by itself without anyone present. For whatever reason I was cooking
eggs and corn and putting them on buns much like hamburgers. And after the guy was all scared out of his wits and took off, everyone
gathered together in this kitchen and we ate these corn-egg burgers. And that's about when I woke up.
I have no idea what this dream means. I was still sick at the time and missed church that morning because I was sick.
