Radioactive Military Future [11/19/2007]

So I had another unusually strange dream this morning. I first recall an older guy either flying or driving away to check something out. While he did that, I observed a young lady sitting in the cockpit of a small propeller plane. It had an open cockpit and its wing was held above the cockpit like a canopy. I believe the plane was red and green, but mostly green.

She sat in the cockpit and wanted to check in on this guy who had taken off, but the guy failed to respond over the radio transmitter. A moment later, she looked closely at the radio to see what was wrong. The first thing I noticed was that the console that the radio was attached to looked very much like a mailbox. She tugged at the radio cord and the console started to open like a mailbox.

Now she opened up the mailbox-like console and found a letter inside. It read to the effect that the guy had been transported into the future. How the mailbox got there and how the letter appeared inside addressed specifically to that point in time was unexplained. A moment later I was following the story of what happened to the guy.

I now played the part of the man in the story, and I found myself in an excavation area where shady things were going on. There were piles of dirt around and I found myself standing on a strange rock material which I knew was the focus of their scheming. I ran around on these crushed rocks and believed by doing that it would throw off their plan. I don't know if it was because I was contaminating the stones or if I was preventing the people from covering it up by being there, but I knew I was disturbing their plans.

In a moment, the girl appeared to join me as we both apparently were being contaminated by these radioactive stones. We both were walking around on these stones and kicking them around. Eventually it seemed like we were swimming in these stones.

From a dirt road leading in one direction between the huge piles of dirt, a group of army personnel came and grabbed us. Then they dragged us off, stripped us and washed us down like they were decontaminating us. Then they tossed us towels and shoved us off to walk through some strange army camp which we somehow recognized and knew that we had housing of some kind there.

We walked past the guards at the entrance and down a path and between tents of some kind. All the while we only had towels on. The camp felt like a mix between a military installation and some kind of hippie college party. All this time it was at night and all the tents were lit up with incandescent lighting. People were running around in a rather casual party manner screaming of excitement or whatever. Eventually we found our lockers or whatever and I woke up shortly after that.

The only things I can gather from this are a similarity to the future in the latest Heroes season. The radioactive aspect and future aspect suggest I'm afraid that something (I don't know what) will go badly for me.
