Movie Accident [3/09/2004]
The first dream I had felt like one of those television interviews
where you'd be like watching some video clip of something like a movie
that was in production and there's the director or whoever is discussing
how well some parts went and how hard it was for other parts.
Well, I don't know what movie or whatever it was that they were
shooting, but it had Jonathan Taylor Thomas (Played Randy in Home
Improvement), and he had some kind of movie scene to shoot where he was
riding this beautiful brown horse and running away from something. The
director/narrator was telling how it was tough to do this shot or how it
went really well in this part.
He had to get trained before the movie to ride this horse, but I guess
he caught on really quick on how to ride. Well, the scenery was really
beautiful and he was riding this horse through trees and then to the edge
of some hilly fields and around bends and sometimes he had to make a turn
just right so he road saddle-side of the horse to get the horse to turn
sharp and all. It seemed to be going perfectly. Then the narrator seemed
to have started discussing something awful that happened but wasn't saying
exactly just what. It was more just saying "this one part of it was just
really unfortunate" and stuff like that.
Then it was obvious when the fateful scene was about to happen. He was
riding along this straight path with a small mound in the middle with tall
grass covering it, and these two other horses were chasing him still. But
suddenly the horse went over the mound instead of around it like they
expected it to, and Jon (I'll call him that) fell off and onto the mount
and the horse fell down and rolled over him.
At this point the narrator was saying how horrible it was that it
happened and that she was amazed how quickly he recovered and resumed
shooting the movie again. They started describing the injuries that
occurred, but it was all to evident what happened when they showed a short
clip of him getting rolled over by the horse and then standing up.
His jaw was completely broken on both sides so his jaw just sort of
sagged and swung with his movement. Really gross. Then they said
something about he also broke some ribs and one leg. And the video fuzzed
out as you saw camera crew running out to support him.
I woke up at some random time in the morning at that point and thought
how weird that dream was. I committed it to memory and went back to
sleep.
