Date and a Restaurant [2/02/2004]

So I had these two dreams that were rather short but strange. The first took place in a restaurant for the most part. Allison and some other friends all drove over to this place. It was nice and sunny out and the building was very white and clean. We went inside and sat at a small red table. A picture window looked out away from the registers and behind the registers were these three spots big enough for people to sit in and have their head facing out toward the eating area. Two guys and a girl, or maybe a third guy, came in and went around the registers and behind this divider and stuck their heads through these spaces and sat there.

They started singing some song together seemingly having a good time and this seemed very bizarre to us as we ate our food. It seemed like they were just waiting for a banana cream pie to hit them in the face, or not. After they were done eating, they were each given a huge jelly worm-like fish on a plate. I don't know if they paid for it or if their humiliating ritual won them the food. Shortly after they received those, the waiter gave them all some cherries and bananas as well. It seemed they had more than they wanted so they gave some of them to us.

After all this was over, they got out of the strange positions and left. I then woke up shortly after.

The second dream wasn't all so strange, but seemed more like a television drama show. I either watched from an angle, or was the person of this rather independent guy who was with some hot chick, and seemed to be secretly dating her. It was late in the evening and some violence of some sort sprung up in this suburban area, and he and the girl were debating where their relationship was heading (either going too far or staying relatively the same), and he was kissing up to her and she was being uncertain and wasn't sure about anything between them. Yet he persisted on them staying together and getting closer in their relationship. She agreed a bit but wasn't sure if it was right or not.

At this point it was almost like the two had only met each other a day or two prior and already had trouble with the thought of having to leave and not see each other for 24 hours. Eventually she decided she had to get home before her dad knew anything of their relationship, and he was afraid for her safety, so he opened a case or something and pulled out a semi-automatic weapon and gave it to her for her safety as she walked home.

So she took the weapon and left. He on the other hand stayed and argued with himself about the whole situation. He seemed to love her and struggled with the idea of being apart. It also seemed that he lived right around the corner, literally. His house was on one side of the street corner, and hers was behind his and on the other street that adjoined his street. Like, they shared the same backyard.

Eventually he succumbed to his wrestling argument and went over to her house to plea with her. She was still walking to the back of her house and he came up behind her and the both of them ran across this blonde guy who seemed to be waiting for her, but wasn't her dad. It seemed like he was her brother. So the guy threw some kind of insult at this blonde brother of hers and she went up the back steps which took her up to the second floor and the guy went to her window and begged her to marry him. For whatever strange reason, he had the intent in his mind of sleeping with her. And I thought to myself in this dream how selfish and stupid he was being. I then woke up.
