Escaped and on a Journey [1/03/2006]
This dream seemed to have some similar elements to my last dream, but it followed a completely different
plot. First of all, three people on horseback came riding through a wooded area and they reached one spot where
they stopped for a few minutes.
They seemed to be talking about how they've finally escaped from some place and they should keep going so that
they aren't spotted. Two men and one woman were in the group, and I must say, the woman didn't look very lady-like.
She had poorly kempt hair and a dirty face and not the best of teeth. However, the older man in the group didn't
seem all that better because he reminded me Argus Fitch, the Hogwarts Janitor from Harry Potter. I fit into the
third character, so I never got any look at him.
Anyway, we headed off to our next destination which was a large old lake-house on top of a huge cliff overlooking
an inlet of a larger body of water, and facing into the sunset. A forest lay northeast of us, a dock was at the
bottom of the cliff, and out a little ways in the water stood a giant column about the same height as the cliff we
were atop of.
Here we stopped for a while and a few other people arrived that we awaited. As they showed up, a naration of who
they were spun through my head, although I didn't recall any of that. I did however recall that one girl was in
some kind of unhappy mood and tried to leave by waterway on her own, but we didn't take much time in stopping her
from doing so.
Not long after while we stood on the docks and prepared to leave, a little child appeared clutching the side of a
wooden raft with her teeth. We apparently knew her, and she was known for biting things, much like the little girl
in the story, A Series of Unfortunate Events. She then climbed out onto the dock. And after that I woke up.
