Show Tickets [6/29/2003]
The first thing I recall was that I was at some kind of shop/small
business along with SMac (Steve MacDonald). His dad was there and was
talking to me about paying me for some job I had done, and also about how
much to pay my little brother for his work as well. I didn't exactly
know. Mr. MacDonald was thinking of paying him the same as his other job,
which I thought was $8.25 per hour in my dream. Anyway, he said he was
going to pay me but needed to do something else first, so he was going to
get back to me later.
After that I headed out of the place with SMac and we walked down a strip
mall to a ticket sales place that looked a lot like an airport terminal or
something. The seating in the front wasn't lit well, the front desk was
like you'd see the luggage drop off places in an airport. With those
curved counters and the light shining toward the back from above. The
whole place was kinda blue in color. Well, we got there and stood in a
line and I went up and got my tickets. I got 5 tickets. Then I turned
around to go back to where SMac was waiting. The whole lobby of seats was
packed with people sitting and waiting to get tickets to this theater
show.
We left the building and stood on a corner of the sidewalk by the parking
lot and conversed with some friends. I relized then that these tickets
weren't for the show I wanted to go to instead. But I figured they were
cheap enough (like $2 each) so I decided not to bother with getting money
back. I then woke up in the night and rehearsed it a bit.
