Angels and the Book of Life [9/3/2004]
Had this really weird dream this morning that I don't think I get. It was rather short but it's hard to
explain it. I was inside a house that would be explained as my house, but as usual it isn't my house.
There's a piano and some odd furniture in the room. The piano faces the south wall and a picture window
shines in light from the north wall. An entrance to the house is down a short hallway to the south and some
rooms extended to the west.
I stood in the room with someone else, and an angel appeared in the form of a child about 6 or 7 years of
age. She told me some exciting news that she had come to give a task to a certain girl who she knew lived
there. And I guess this girl came out and was all excited about this news and then the angel paused and
recollected something and realized that she had the wrong girl. She then said she was sorry and that she had
the wrong person and, instead of a new task, she gave concern that the girl's name was not written in The
Book of Life.
I was like, "What? are you sure? can her name be added to The Book of Life?" Yet, she continued to say
that her name was not in the book. I asked, "Well, is my name in The Book of Life?" Oddly, she said that it
wasn't and that she had to be going.
She lifted into the air, despite not having noticeable wings (I didn't recall her having wings, but knew
she was an angel by how she presented herself). She flew outside and these Christmas cards followed her in a
line as if they were being delivered to some place by the angel. I knew that the cards were from our family
and extended family and that they were to this certain girl whom we were concerned about earlier.
I walked outside as I watched her fly away into the setting sun and the wind blew, and two wind-chimes
rang out in a repetitive melody that I remember. It was very eerie sounding.
