Airplane Raid [1/04/2004]
Well, this dream was rather strange. I forgot a number of details of it just as I awoke from it, so the very
beginning is a bit shady. All I know was that I was in an airplane (probably from watching some tragic airplane
movie with that girl from King of Queens in it). I was being attacked by some military-type people (whether they
were the bad guys or I was, I don't know).
I remember starting out by tossing a couple grenades at some of these guys and taking someone captive. We went
down an elevator in the side of this airplane and I pushed him ahead when we got off the elevator. We were searching for
the core center of operation where these military people were controlling from, and it seemed that my captive was one
of only a few people who would know this information.
We went down a hallway that reminded me a little of a star trek set or something. Around the bend was a passage
into a huge control center, but it was a temporary/auxiliary control center as it read on the sign that labeled the room.
We went in and found no one was there.
The whole room was gray metal and there were monitors and controls all around the room and hanging from a big
thing in the center of the room. My captive tried to escape me at this point by running back to the elevator, but I was
far too quick for him to get anywhere before he could escape. So he seemed to give up and follow my orders.
We went through this temporary shelter and to a door on the other side of the control room. I looked through this
door and saw hundreds of military personnel running around in what looked like a lobby to a large corporate building
or maybe an airport. I assumed this because there were windows and a spinning door across the far side of the room
that looked across a city street.
We rushed in and started shooting at these people and they retaliated, so we ran back into the other room and a
few of their grenades flew in through the door after us. So we carefully got away and tried to get back toward the
entrance of the room.
At this point the grenades only started making odd ticking sounds and never did explode. Now military guys were
coming in the door, so I tossed a grenade at them and it killed a few of them, but they kept coming in after us.
Around this point I woke up.
