Killer Child [3/09/2004]
This second dream I had this morning was rather strange compared to the
first, but not quite as gross. I found myself in a mall somewhere and
this psycho who looked a lot like Kurt Nilsen, the winner this year on
World Idol. Anyway, he seemed to be after me for some knowledge I had, so
I managed to escape him somehow in one of the stores when he wasn't
looking.
I ran into some other department store that had a lot of partitions in
it and had a club out back and weird looking restrooms out next to this
club that was inside this department store. I then figured I lost him and
slowly snuck back to the front of the store so I could get out and
leave.
Just as I thought I was free, I heard him say, "Everybody, freeze!
Nobody move." I looked and saw him there with a small silver gun, a lot
like the ones James Bond would use as a concealed weapon for emergencies.
I was facing right toward him and I figured that perhaps he was going to
now chase me and was talking to everyone else at the registers and nearby
to just stop moving so he could get after me.
Well, I slowly started to move and he addressed me to stop, but I guess
I wasn't quick enough for him, so he shot at me, and it grazed my right
hip and I collapsed to the floor holding the wound that the shot
caused.
He came over to me and said something about how foolish I was to try
and run away, and said he had something that he needed my help to fix. He
then waved over an assistant of his who happened to be black and he was
carrying a box of sorts.
He said something about how I knew what it was and that I could fix it,
so he knelt over and gave me this box. I told him I would, but no guns.
I quickly knocked the gun to the floor near us. So I lay on the floor
looking at this device and fidget with a few wires on it, and I didn't
like the thought of the gun sitting there so I knocked it aside a little
more. I continued to work on the box, but again, that gun wasn't far
enough away for my liking, so I took a huge swing at it and figured I
could escape once they go after the gun.
Unfortunately fate wasn't in my favor. The gun slid out of the store
and into the mall hallway where a small child made note of it and went to
pick it up. This little girl was very Asian, and she acted as though it
was a toy and pointed it towards us and fired off five shots. All of them
went straight through my neck an I clenched my neck as that last few shots
went through my hands and into my neck. I almost fell over dead, but then
I had this sense of it not being right, so I called out, "wait a
minute."
Time reversed itself to the point where the gun lay next to me and I
resumed working on the box and decided that I shouldn't do that again. At
this point I woke up to my alarm.
