Robot Cops [3/11/2004]

A strange dream indeed. I found myself on the top floor of a factory building to start. I think I had some kind of job there. I had the job of moving metal around, and I did a few rounds of this before it seemed that the shift ended and we had to leave. Well, there were these two black guys, one in a wheelchair and the other who sounded like Michael Clarke Duncan (Started in The Green Mile and such) and was a little bit chunky.

They were arguing about how much of a danger it is for the guy in the wheelchair to take the elevator down because he could easily just roll right off the edge of it if he's not careful. The guy in the wheelchair went down the elevator safely and then the other guy went down. I then went down after them, but didn't leave as they were leaving arguing about why the one guy's name was Vice. I looked at the wall near the door where they left through and there were plaques with everyone's name on them. And his name was listed on it as something like "Lenett Vice" and they argued why everyone calls him Vice instead of Len.

Well, their chatter faded off as I sat next to some 50 gallon drums in this rather dark/sunset-lit factory building. Suddenly some security guards came in and were talking to each other about turning on a robot and sweeping the factory for any people. So they turned on this big robot and it immediately sensed me and my brother. Somehow my brother randomly showed up in the factory. We both like fell to the floor and lay motionless. Well, they said he was dead, but he wasn't and they shot him anyway and he died. Then they came to me and were about to do the same thing, but somehow the two guards died. I don't remember killing them, but they were just eliminated from the situation.

The big robot, which had a face like Sylvester Stallone, came and addressed me. Before the guards died they were about to give a verdict on me and the robot in a Stallone voice asked what the verdict was with a gun pointed to my head. He said something like, "And you're suppose to be," and I quickly finished the sentence in a mock of the guard’s voice, "dead!"

I ducked and he shot and missed. Then he went to shoot again but he was out of ammo. So I ran back into the factory and he chased me. At one point he picked up this weird yellow square tube-link like thing that was made out of some heavy plastic. It had three or four of these yellow squares about two feet in diameter and linked together with each other like a chain almost. He swung that at me and missed the first time, but the second time it hit me hard and I flew to the ground and passed out.

I then saw as he started dragging me away and I regained consciousness and fought my way free as he tried to throw me around. I ran into a stair well/exit area and he came in after me and I somehow disabled him and got away. It seemed almost like he was reluctant to kill me because he kept giving me advice on how to escape and he told me where this transmitter was that would then signify me as someone not to kill.

I went outside and quickly found this small smooth triangle device and kept it with me. I went around the corner of the building to the parking lot and there was a police woman there with her tablet taking notes on a big incident that seemed to have occurred in the lot. Two police cars looked like they were clubbed with a steel beam. There was slicing and splintering of the roof of both cars through the passenger side. And it didn't seem like a crane with a beam on it had destroyed them. It seemed more like someone managed to lift a steel beam and smashed it through both trooper cars and totally disabling them. She asked me some questions and I had some idea who had done it. And it was obvious they were after me. And I noticed that my black sports car was missing from the lot.

She said that it was towed into the impound lot by some other people. I knew it had something to do with this smashing incident and I went to the impound lot which happened to just be right behind the factory building. I then woke up at this point and I'd only been sleeping for 4 hours. I think I woke up because of the phone ringing.
