Almost forgot to write down this dream I had Friday morning. It was rather weird and post modern or something like futuristicish. I was walking down the street of some city and it seemed like I was trying to save people from some bad thing going on.

First of all, my grandfather (who is still living right now) had risen from the dead and was attacking people and I had to deal with it because everyone was panicking about him attacking them, and I was also against his attacking business. So I went into this building where he was supposedly (because people were running out and looking afraid) and I went down some stairs toward the basement of the building.

The stairs were lit with an amber yellow glow and the walls reflected grungy, yellow painted cement. A few people ran past me up the stairs to escape. Then a dark looking man in ragged cloths and generally dead looking came up after me, and, although he may not have looked like my grandfather, in my head I knew he was. So I attacked him and seemingly killed him in some battle of kicking and verbal attacks on his motives. So he was dead and people were happy, and I somehow buried the emotion of killing my grandfather.

Then something else strange was going on. I left the building and virtually no one was found walking down the streets of the city. Not a car was in sight. Almost like the start of Vanilla Sky, only it was the entire city and I saw large portions of it rather than just Time Square. I knew something was up, so I looked around for where the trouble was at, and saw hundreds of kites floating above this one building.

I figured that tons of people must have been captured and stuck up on top of this building. But why did they have kites? I do not know. So I ran over to this building and prepared myself for what I believed would be some sort of evil attack. I got close to this building and it had green tinted windows and a revolving door. I pushed through the door and was immediately met by two dark looking Asian guys who didn’t attack me but proceeded to escort me to wherever I was going. So I went up this short set of three or four stairs that spanned across the entire front room which was dimly lit and had black flooring and greenish walls and furniture. Almost something you’d see in The Matrix.

So I went down this hallway toward the middle that led me past a few Asian women who glared at me a bit. I went to the elevator, which wasn’t your average elevator. It was more of a hanging, reddish oriental cloth seat that was pulled up by ropes at the corners. I made it clear that I wanted to go up to the top of this building and got in the seat.

They instantly hoisted me at such a rapid rate that I knew they were trying to kill me by making me hit the ceiling of this elevator chamber thing. I quickly moved by standing up in the cloth seat and prepared to jump to some panel in the ceiling. I jumped just before I got there and something happened that I couldn’t follow that brought me above the flying kites.

I sorta floated down from these blue and orange and white and red kites and into what looked like an open laboratory on top of this building. All the people were caged in this one pen, and there must have been like a few hundred people.

Two people stood outside in lab coats and I confronted them asking what the story was with this whole thing. They got nervous and make it look like they were innocent minions of some higher power, but then they ran out of the room and attempted to lock the doors behind them. I think they were going to confront someone who was in charge and have him take care of me. I caught on just before they could close the doors to the lab. I had already set free the people from the cage, and then I ran and caught the door and the people I freed went to assist me in preventing the two engineers from closing the door.

I think I eventually caught them after going through a couple sets of doors, but at this point I woke up.
