A Brush On Fame [7/24/2003]
This dream started out that we were watching some kind of movie with Tom
Cruise in it and it had some awful ending with some girl going around and
making out with a big line of guys. Then the movie ended and I discussed
it a little with Matt and Joe who were watching it with me, and I
commented that I like the movie aside from the bad ending. I also noted
that the house in the movie was a lot like a house I've been to before.
So I left the place and went to this house that was just like in the movie
and looked around a little.
At this point the scene changed and I was entering a concert hall and two
guys were on stage playing. One was on an unamplified guitar and the
other on an electronic keyboard which was amplified. Then we gave the
guitarist an amplifier and plugged it in. At this point the music started
to sound horrible and me and friends I knew all believed it was because
they really aren't good, and the guitarist didn't have an amplifier for
that reason.
The scene changed again and I was playing guitar with someone else, and it
was noted that it sounded good. Then the scene changed a little more and
I was tuning a guitar only the guitar was really big and the strings were
more like big ropes. We were trying to get the twists out of them like
you would get the twists out of a car seatbelt. Then the scene changed
some more, and we were being really quiet and sneaky trying to lay out
these think nylon strings next to Kevin Costner who was sleeping on the
table where the strings were. And we did this for a long while and even
through a couple snoozes of my alarm. We were worried the sound of the
alarm might have woken him up, but he never did. Then I woke up and it
ended.
