Demon Frogs [5/21/2005]
I had the most bizzare dream this morning. I must say that this has been one of the most twisted ones as of late.
And actually, it's been one of only a few lately because my alarm clock always ruins my chance to remember any of my
dreams.
I was with a group of four people. I didn't have the time to recognize who these people where, but the five of us were
trying to weed out the evil one in our group. We were in a dirty brown looking tunnel that led off in a few directions.
At some point we all knew who the evil one in the group was, so we chased him down and killed him.
We all seemed quite agreed that we had killed the evil one, but not a moment later and one person in the group turned
a dark crimson color and grew horns and everything like a demon. I ran off at that point, but I assume the other two people
also transformed into demons, and they were all hunting me down.
I escaped the cave somehow, and found myself looking over my kitchen sink. Then three frogs climbed out of the drain of
the sink, and they seemed to be the three that were chasing me. So I didn't want to touch them lest they were poisonous.
At this point I was trying to find a way to kill them before they could have any chance of touching me. My parents stood
near the sink, so I asked them what I could do about the frogs. They responded by telling me that I could kill them and then
somehow turn them into spices. What kind of spices, I really don't know. Almost sounds like something the Japanese would
make -- Frogspice.
Anyway, I didn't agree with that because I wanted to kill them, but I didn't want to do it directly. No stabbing with a
knife or anything like that. Instead I took a huge pot of black bean soup and poured it into the sink. The frogs tried to
escape the soup by crawling out on top of it. At that point I had grabbed a large tupperware container, and scooped up
the frogs and a large amount of the soup. The frogs continued to try to climb out of the soup which nearly overflowed in
the tupperware container, but I placed a lid over the container.
At this point I woke up, but I assume the frogs would have either drowned, or else I would have placed them in the
freezer for them to remain blocks of ice forever.
I had black bean and chicken soup at Panera Bread on the way up to Potsdam, but I don't know what any of the frogs
have anything to do with.
