Let's Go to the Theatre [11/07/2001]
Dug up from the depths of my archives:
I had the longest, well not the longest, dream last night. It was rather elaborate and made little sense.
First of all, we were going to this theatre of sorts in a big city and the building was all cathedral-like. The city
was a bit like central Albany because of the large Albany-looking buildings. But we didn't end up going into the
theatre.
We were parking in a huge lot nearby the theatre and there was this other family parking there and this older guy in
that car was nauseous and stuff. We parked in the lot for a little bit and then decided we had to go somewhere.
The scene changed to us driving down a winding country road, in a rush, honking at cars to get them to pull out of
the way. The roads were a bit like those going up to Potsdam, NY (Hilly, windy, and narrow).
We rushed off to Saranac lake for whatever reason, and we knew the few people who were there but they didn't know us.
The place seemed fresh and dark like an untouched place in the middle of a big forest. We talked for a bit to the
people at the camp and then decided to go to some old folks home where my Grandpa was living for some reason.
We arrived there in an instant and went to his room up some narrow stairs. We visited for a short bit and then left
there and left a different way, but we didn't really leave. We arrived at these twirly stairs and there was a really nice
sound system set up all around, and at the bottom of the stairs someone turned on this old stereo with tubes in them and
stuff and it sounded really nice, and it also made the whole place glow bright green.
I went down the stairs, but they didn't go down the the first floor and to the exit. Instead it went down to some pool.
The pool was basically in the basement of the building and it had lights in the water that make the room dance with
light blue waves. There were pillars on the side where I came down the stairs, and brick walls painted white around the
other sides.
No one was there anymore asside some pretty girl. She closed the entrance to the place and locked it, and the two of
us hung around and did some things, and then my dream ended after a while of that.
