The Egg People [3/07/2008]
This dream was very strange. It happened much like the dreams I had on the few previous nights where I'm competing and losing at something. However, this time it was less like a game and more like real life.
The dream was set in the future, and we had ships flying around and some kind of phaser-type weapons. It seemed we were trying to put a front up against a very strange and dangerous enemy to mankind.
We were well informed that these creatures looked initially very much like human beings, but when killed, their bodies changed and became very lethal.
We made camp up on some kind of facility with a few buildings spread around on a platform with something like landing markings and cargo holding spots marked out like with yellow painted lines and such. Parts seemed to be all metal that could fold away to reveal lower levels like an aircraft carrier.
We had barriers set up and were well armed and instructed to stay out from underneath these creatures. The more distance the better between us.
Soon they came upon us and it was very hard to keep them off of us because they somehow floated or jumped through the air and over us. A group of us slid down into one of these small shafts that looked like and inverted metal pyramid in the ground.
When we fired at these people, they soon turned into what looked like giant eggs with no shell. They expired and fell on some of the other soldiers who quickly showed signs of suffering and death as though these egg whites and yolks were not unlike acid being spilled on them.
I somehow escaped tragedy but continued to fight these creatures and avoid their messy demise until I eventually woke up.
