Psycho Pizza [11/26/2004]
I have to write this dream down before I forget it. It all happened on last Friday after
Thanksgiving.
At first I was dreaming that I was riding around in a minivan with my little brother who was driving. We
were in the middle of a somewhat populated urban area. It was much like a small city without too many tall
buildings. We were flying through intersections as if there were no stop signs and other cars seemed to
enter the same intersections at just the moment that we were leaving the intersections. I felt like I was
going to panic from all the near accidents that we were almost in, but every time it seemed like we avoided
all danger.
In another scene we were running along on foot away from something fearful. We ran past this building
that seemed like it was made in the style of waffles. One window stuck out of the building while the one
next to it was indented into the building and so on. So it all looked like an alternating in-out chess board
on all sides.
Two (rather dead looking) guards were following us at a walking pace. Then we doubled back and went into
this waffle building. It was rather run down.
There was junk all over and plaster was crumbling on the walls and mold was growing all over. But the
really strange thing was yet to come.
We were scanning the building with this device that allowed us to see things through walls. The real
strange thing was that we were scanning for pizza. We'd see a piece of pizza and run this scanner over it.
If it was just normal pizza, the pizza would appear to stay intact without any rough edges or anything. Then
we'd scan over a possessed piece of pizza and it would show rough edges all over as if it was decaying, but
only under our scanner. And Then the possessed pizza would come after us and we'd kill it rather easily.
We went up these stairs where we spotted one slice of this psycho pizza, and it went after us once we got
up the run down stairway and we killed that one too. We continued through the building and I woke up
somewhere during our sweep of the building.
What this dream means? I'm not sure. Pizza is supposedly a symbol of having an abundance, choice or
variety. Maybe it has something to do with playing too many scary games and then eating lots of food on
Thanksgiving. I doubt it's as simple as that though. My dreams are so weird... but rather amusing.
