Cleaning Room [11/01/2003]
Saturday morning I had this unusual dream. I was in a big mansion of sorts, and a number of people where
there. AJ from C&C, my brother Matt, my friend Mark, and a few others I believe. We were sitting around in this
room and AJ had completed one of those 3-D puzzles. Then we started making this model building/platform thing
out of paperclips and foam. I bound the last clips together to complete this thing, and AJ put some more foam on
to hide the paper clips. This structure somehow was strong enough to lie on without it collapsing. It was very
strange for foam and paper-clips to hold any weight.
Well, people were feeling sleeping and went to bed. A few others had already gone to bed because they needed
to get up early for something. Eventually we all went to bed.
Shortly it was very early morning and I had to use the bathroom, so I snuck out of the room so as not to wake
anyone. I went down the hall and into this enormous bathroom/washroom/kitchen(?) and went down some long stairs
to the back of the room where the bathroom part of the room was. There were sliding glass doors in the back that
opened out to a patio and a barn in the back. The toilet faced towards them and the the right of the toilet
there led up to the front of the room where I came in.
I saw two of the people that had to get up early were out in the barn woodworking. The saw me there and came
over and started talking to me while I was sitting on the toilet. Embarrassed I was sitting there trying cover
up. Then a group of boy scouts and girl scouts came into the room and started cleaning the place up and an older
woman was in charge of them, and she had led them in. She was trying to wash down the walls so you could see the
old paintings on the wall (this place was really expensive looking like that) and had everyone working. She
forced me to start working while I still sat on the toilet. I then sheepishly got up and discovered I had some
shorts on. I then went over to some large sinks to get something to help wash the walls with.
It sounded like they were going to take pictures of the old wall paintings and then paint over them with new
ones. There was a lot of dirt and grim on the walls, and the brownish colors slowly turned to beautiful yellows
and whites and other colors and started to show some kind of harvest feel to the place. It seemed a waist to
paint over the walls which were decorated so intricately with scenes of farm houses and such. I woke up in the
middle of the whole cleaning process.
